Cecilia Fragoso | Paralegal

Cecilia is originally from Durango, Mexico, where she graduated from Law School. She holds a Master´s Degree in Diplomacy and International Affairs from the Diplomatic School of Madrid. Besides the U.S., she has lived in five different countries; Belgium, Canada, Spain, Lebanon, and France, where she learned from other cultures and experienced the challenges an immigrant faces when leaving their country.

Throughout her professional career, she has always tried to contribute to social matters. She has experience working for the Mexican government, private sector, and nonprofit organizations.

Cecilia has worked in two Mexican Consulates in the United States; in Milwaukee, at the Legal Affairs Department, in charge of assisting victims of domestic violence, and in Detroit, as a Cultural Affairs Coordinator and Legal Assistant.

She volunteered with the organization SB Brussel Overseas, assisting Syrian refugees, and did an internship at the International Organization for Migrations (IOM-UN).

At our firm, Cecilia is in charge of Immigration Court Cases; Asylum, Withholding of Removal, and Convention Against Torture; Cancellation of Removal, and Permanent Residency applications.
